Is anybody out there?? Let's get to know each other!

Yesterday I was feeling a little sluggish and fatigued. This rain is not what I'm used to here in So Cal. I walk everyday at a park near our home and it has the best landscapes to make the walk pleasant. 4 miles and then I get on the rowing machine for 15-20 minutes. Protein power drink and high protein. With the rain and the cold weather, I haven't been able to get my walk in. I miss being outside. I worked in my garden 2 days ago and looked at all the overgrowth of weeds I need to get rid of. I have a courtyard backyard so no lawn to mow. I can't wait for trips to the beach, sitting by the fire at night in my own space, visiting family. Even though I work three jobs, I still work from home most of the time. Today I played piano and wrote more details in my new book that will be ready by the beginning of Summer. I love my husband, but when he is home for days at a time, I get annoyed when I need to have a day to myself. Today was a good day for that. I finally got that day to myself. 

I was told that it takes time for anyone to recognize a new blogger. I know it's hard to get to know someone. I have a hard time just writing about myself. From my experience reading other bloggers, you are basically letting the public know you so you can promote yourself and your books. It's sure hard to be an entrepreneur. 

When I get down, it sure is nice to have my cat sit on my lap and nuzzle me. I need that sometimes. I'm very close with my husband but as we get older, we don't travel anymore or socialize much. After the pandemic, things changed and going out became sketchy. I get to see my kids and their families, but it's not like the good old days. We took a cruise to Bermuda and that was in 2006 for my 25th anniversary. I wanted to take another one after our last child moved out. It just isn't something we're comfortable doing. Since we live at the beach, we love going there and we make it a fun day. Just being together is a great way to make a memory, every day!
